We had a problem with our gas fireplace - the remote ignition system stopped working. Jim researched our unit and spent a number of phone calls with me to investigate and then resolve the problem without a service call. His friendly patience and persistence were a pleasure. He also refused to be compensated for his time which I felt was above and beyond..

They have nice quality products. I have purchased many gas inserts from them and my clients are always happy.

Great experience. Our home/fireplace is from the 1890s. We really needed a new screen and were hassled by another company that agreed to sell us a screen but would not install it. Northshore Fireplace has a relationship with the chimney/fireplace inspection company we use, and they worked together to verify safety while respecting the historical integrity of our fireplace and hearth. Northshore sold us the doors/screen and did the install, no problem. We're happy with the final result and Paul was great to work with.

Northshore did a great job replacing a mantel with a semi-custom product of simple good taste - just what we had asked for. They worked with the manufacturer to arrange the changes we needed and the installation was very well done.
